Karen Casady is an Ecuadorian American graphic designer based in Chicago. She graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in UXD from DePaul University in June 2023.
With a passion for making connections, problem-solving, and storytelling, her design philosophy revolves around transforming ideas into visually compelling narratives that leave a lasting impression.
Karen specializes in branding & identity, packaging, illustration, logo design, UX design, and marketing collateral for both printed and digital materials. Due to her curious nature, she’s constantly looking for ways to further develop her skills by seeking out new design trends and techniques, attending workshops, and collaborating with other designers to exchange ideas and learn from each other.
When not designing, she loves to spend time with her husband and two-year-old daughter. She enjoys running, baking, doing yoga with her toddler, rewatching sitcoms (any New Girl fans out there?), and playing video games.
Fun fact: She is a squirrel whisperer.
