Source Abierto San Antonio is a fictional open source convention held in San Antonio, Texas. The convention is centered around free and open source software while empowering Hispanics in tech and celebrating diversity and culture.

Design exploration began by researching San Antonio culture, food, music, and diversity. Color palette was influenced by bright, highly saturated colors seen along the River Walk, a popular San Antonio attraction.

Export typeface was chosen for its geometric, futuristic characteristics. Contrasting it for a balanced look, Bookmania typeface was used for body copy.
